Joanita Mwende Kateega

Joanita has over a decade of experience overseeing regional and in-country grants and award portfolios and has successfully cultivated strategic partnerships across various donor organizations, including USAID, the EU, BMGF, and the USDA. Before joining MiracleFeet, Joanita worked as the Regional Grants and Contracts Manager for West Africa at TechnoServe where she managed multi-million-dollar projects across Africa and other regions. Her skill set encompasses contract negotiation, risk management, grants administration, and financial reporting, all aimed at improving operational efficiency and compliance standards. Fluent in English and French and based in Kampala, Uganda, Joanita works closely with program staff to ensure operational, financial, procedural, compliance, and reporting excellence across MiracleFeet programs.
