Angola
About our work
MiracleFeet began working in Angola in early 2026, partnering with the Baptist Evangelical Church in Angola (IEBA) to launch a pilot project focusing on bringing clubfoot treatment to two priority hospitals in the Luanda region. During the pilot program, IEBA will strengthen technical capacity, refine coordination mechanisms, and deepen its understanding of the operational, clinical, and community-level dynamics of clubfoot service delivery while learning from other MiracleFeet partners in the West and Central Africa region. This learning phase will allow MiracleFeet and the IEBA to build a strong, evidence-informed foundation to support future expansion to other priority provinces.
Our Partner
The Baptist Evangelical Church in Angola – Igreja Baptista Evangélica em Angola (IEBA) is one of Angola’s most established faith-based institutions. Headquartered in Luanda and affiliated with the Baptist World Alliance, IEBA is officially recognized by the Government of Angola as a social partner and has a strong track record in health, education, and community development. Its flagship Centro Médico Piloto de Luanda provides comprehensive clinical services, including maternal and child health, TB treatment, physiotherapy, and community health programming. With its extensive geographic footprint, trusted community presence, and collaboration with the Ministry of Health, IEBA provides an ideal platform to launch and expand clubfoot treatment in Angola.
