About our work
MiracleFeet started supporting its very first patients in 2010–at one clinic in São Paulo, Brazil with partner Dr. Laura Ferreira. She was Brazil’s first female orthopedic surgeon, trained by Dr. Ponseti, and has been integral to MiracleFeet’s history. Our partnership with the University Hospital of São Paulo has not only provided hundreds of children in Brazil receive treatment, but played a critical role in the development of the MiracleFeet brace.
In addition to the hospital and clinic partners, MiracleFeet counts on the support of the Brazilian Society of Orthopedic and Traumatology (SBOT) and the Brazilian Society of Pediatric Orthopedics (SBOP) led by Dr. Alexandre Lourenço, MiracleFeet’s advisor.
