Faisal Imtiaz Sheikh

Program Manager, South Asia

As Regional Program Manager, Faisal support MiracleFeet’s programs across South Asia, working alongside partners and government health systems to expand access to clubfoot treatment and strengthen the quality and sustainability of care. Faisal has over eleven years of experience in global health and the non-profit sector and is skilled in program design, partner management, government engagement, disease surveillance, health promotion and scaling health services in low resource settings. Earlier, He spent four years with the World Health Organization in Pakistan as an Immunization and Polio Eradication Officer, where he led immunization and disease surveillance work across multiple districts and also served on emergency response during COVID19 and disease outbreaks. Earlier in his career he also coordinated multi-site research and randomized controlled trials in Pakistan, work that informed provincial health policy and shaped his conviction that programs should be built on evidence. Faisal also served as a national consultant with the National Emergency Operations Centre for polio eradication and during his tenure with Government of Punjab, he also trained district health managers from 36 districts of Punjab on the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases. He is a pharmacist by training with an MS in Public Health from the Health Services Academy, Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad, Faisal lives in Islamabad with his family.
