Program Field Officer – East Asia & Pacific
Danwell holds a B.S. in Nursing from St. Scholastica’s College of Tacloban and has been dedicated to serving vulnerable populations for over 10 years. Danwell has experience working with organizations such as Handicap International, Committee of German Doctors for Developing Countries, Inc., Humanity and Inclusion, Philippine Business for Education, and Save the Children Philippines. His work has focused on youth programs, child well-being, and social development in the Philippines and Southeast Asia. He has worked extensively with marginalized groups, including out-of-school youth, children in conflict with the law, and children with disabilities. His expertise includes community health, psychosocial support, and advocacy for inclusive healthcare. Danwell brings strong experience in strategic planning, budget management, and program operations to ensure at-risk communities have access to health, social services, education, and employment opportunities. At MiracleFeet, Danwell leads efforts to strengthen and expand MiracleFeet’s work in the Philippines and collaborates with partners and stakeholders to advance integration, remove barriers to treatment, and advocate for deeper engagement from the Philippines Department of Health in clubfoot treatment. He also supports partnerships with PNGOC, Maharlika, PBM, and the Philippines Clubfoot Council. Danwell is based in Quezon City, Metro Manila.
