An Update on Innovation at MiracleFeet

January 10, 2019

What better way to begin a new year than with a focus on innovation to help treat clubfoot across the globe? Here’s the latest innovation update from our team.

MiracleFeet Represented at Digital Health Forum in Washington D.C.

In December, MiracleFeet’s mHealth Coordinator Katy Falletta attended the annual Global Digital Health Forum in Washington D.C. This event is an opportunity for digital health professionals from around the world to learn with and from one another in a collaborative environment. Sessions this year focused on topics such as data security, using gaming to change behaviors, improving maternal health, and much more.

For Katy, the opportunity to dig into relevant topics such as scaling and data collection was invaluable. “It was a great opportunity for learning from people and organizations that have been working in this area a lot longer than we have, and at a much bigger scale,” said Katy.

One important takeaway for those working in global health: we’re in it together. “We [all] seem to be facing many of the same challenges,” noted Katy.

MiracleFeet Selected for the 2019 Innovations in Healthcare Cohort

MiracleFeet is honored to be one of ten organizations and companies selected for the Innovations in Healthcare 2019 cohort. As members of the cohort, Innovations in Healthcare will work to support and strengthen the work we do at MiracleFeet, and we couldn’t be more excited for a year of learning and increasing our impact worldwide through this collaboration.
