MiracleFeet Welcomes Two New Board Members
MiracleFeet is thrilled to welcome Jackie Klaber and Greg Schott to our Board of Directors.
Jackie Klaber, Managing Director at Rockefeller Capital Management, was drawn to MiracleFeet because of a direct connection to clubfoot. Her son Caleb was born with the condition in 2022 and she and her family quickly learned firsthand about the Ponseti Method and the tremendous medical progress that has been made over the last 20 years and the impact of treating clubfoot early in life. The Ponseti Method is extremely effective, inexpensive, and non-surgical – something that particularly resonated with Jackie since her husband Andrew experienced a very different treatment approach several decades earlier.
“We are inspired by the power of the Ponseti Method and its ability to treat clubfoot at reasonable cost and with a scalable approach,” says Jackie.
Jackie will serve as a representative of MiracleFeet in New York City and help amplify our work and impact.
“Our experience with clubfoot and the Ponseti Method will help us shine a spotlight on the power of treatment and the profound impact MiracleFeet has for children and their families all over the world,” adds Jackie. “The low-cost treatability of clubfoot make MiracleFeet a standout in terms of the impact delivered for every dollar contributed to the organization.”
Jackie plans to draw from her personal and professional experiences to help MiracleFeet increase awareness of clubfoot and its treatment in centers of influence in the US and abroad. She also hopes to raise funds for the organization to increase the impact and number of children who receive transformative care.
“With a busy career as an investment professional and a mom to two young children, I am passionate about contributing to causes that will compound for many years ahead. Long-term investing and the amazing work of MiracleFeet share the power to alter individual lives and future generations in dramatic, life-changing ways.”
Greg Schott brings copious tech industry experience to his board appointment. Most recently CEO of MuleSoft, Greg has worked extensively in global tech marketing and operations.
Similarly to Jackie, Greg was drawn to MiracleFeet because of the enormous impact clubfoot treatment has on the lives of the children and their families. He and his wife Grace also have a special interest in causes supporting children and early childhood interventions.
“We had not seen a non-profit where $500 can permanently change a young life,” says Greg. “We were also highly impressed by the way MiracleFeet is working with governments to scale and integrate treatment into the local healthcare capabilities over time.”
As an operations and process expert, Greg brings his experience and knowledge of expansion and impact accelerations to help MiracleFeet’s growth and achievement of the RunFree2030 goals.
The skills and experience Jackie and Greg bring to MiracleFeet’s Board are a wonderful complement to the talents of our existing members. We are extremely grateful to our Board for their dedication and support of our mission: to provide high-quality treatment to children born with clubfoot enabling them to live healthy, active, and independent lives.
