Prince Abuworonye

Abuworonye Prince Chibuzor is an enthusiastic, results-driven public health professional with experience applying evidence-based approaches to sexual and reproductive health programming, particularly HIV prevention and the management of sexually transmitted infections among vulnerable populations. Before joining MiracleFeet, Prince spent over a decade using public health principles to promote social and behavioral change with a focus on managing communicable and non-communicable diseases among diverse communities. He has also worked to ensure the proper handling of gender-based violence cases emphasizing prevention, reporting, and safeguarding. He began his public health career at the Center for Research and Preventive Health Care, a community-based organization in Edo State, Nigeria, as a volunteer. He then joined the Society for Family Health, a renowned indigenous public health organization in Nigeria known for its sexual and reproductive health interventions. There, he managed HIV interventions for two donors, USAID and the Global Fund, in Imo State, Nigeria, as the State Specialist for Key Populations. Following, he joined the Center for Integrated Health Programs as an associate in the Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State, Nigeria, under the Center for Disease Control’s Pearl grant. During the pandemic, Prince took on a role at FHI360/Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi) where he worked on the management of the Global Fund IMPACT and NAHI grant intervention. Prince loves to sing and runs a poultry farm.
