Maryum Naseer is a dynamic and highly motivated professional with over 11 years of comprehensive experience across multiple domains of physical therapy, including clinical practice, research, academia, and project management. She is registered with the Allied Health and Professional Council Pakistan, Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), United Kingdom and served as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Pakistan Physical Therapy Association (PPTA) from 2020 to 2022.
She is a certified Ponseti Practitioner with a strong track record of delivering basic and advanced non-surgical clubfoot management training using the Ponseti method. She has been an active contributor to the global physiotherapy community, with research papers published in known international and national journals along with abstracts presented at the World Physiotherapy Congress in 2019, 2021, 2023, and 2025. She has extensive experience as a focal person for key initiatives, including Physical Rehabilitation Technical Trainings, Early Rehabilitation in Conflict and Disaster settings, Digital Centre Management System (DCMS), and technical support for Physical Rehabilitation Centers in Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Pakistan. Maryum played a significant role in managing Physical Rehabilitation Program operations with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Pakistan. She holds specialization in Neuromuscular and Pediatric Physical Therapy after completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy. Additionally, she holds a certification in Project Management. Outside work she enjoys artwork, travelling , and watching suspense movies.
