Dr. Kalpana has rich experience working on public health issues. Her major focus area has been community participation in health systems, where she gained extensive experience in disease surveillance and outbreak management. Her skills in stakeholder management are a result of experience working with diverse populations. Her specialty has been in social determinants of health.
Dr. Kalpana has worked in the public health departments of Maharashtra and Chattisgarh. She has also worked with the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai as Program Manager in Saksham Jan Urja. She received her Masters in Hospital Administration from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
She loves spending time with her family, especially with her daughter. In her leisure time, she enjoys making crafts and sketches.
