Earlier, Mark held sales and marketing leadership roles at NitroMed Inc., HeliosHealth and SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals. Mark has worked and/or lived in Brazil, Russia, India, China, Turkey, Peru, Spain, Netherlands, and the US. He received his MBA from Wharton and a BA from UNC-Chapel Hill, where he was a Morehead Scholar.
Roger Berman, Founding Board Member

As President of RH Berman Consulting, Roger works with US and international clients on marketing and strategic growth initiatives. Roger is also President of FARO textiles, a US, Turkish and Bulgarian textile joint venture. Roger was previously Co-founder and President of Digital LAVA, a digital video communications company. Earlier in his career, he spent 20 years in the apparel industry including being President and CEO of St. Eve International. Roger received his MBA from NYU and his AB from Hamilton College and is the father of a successfully treated child born with clubfoot.
Bridget Ryan Berman, Founding Board Member

Bridget Ryan Berman is an independent consultant advising multi-channel brands and companies on business innovation and large-scale transformation designed around the customer experience. She currently serves as Managing Partner of Ryan Berman Advisory. Ms. Ryan Berman also served as Chief Experience Officer of Enjoy Technology, Inc., and Chief Executive Officer of Victoria’s Secret Direct where she was responsible for all digital properties, marketing and direct-to-consumer businesses supporting the Victoria’s Secret and PINK brands. Prior to Victoria’s Secret, Ms. Ryan Berman spent twelve years at the Ralph Lauren Corporation. As Group President, Global Retail, she guided the development and execution of retail strategies and operations for North America and Europe, including ecommerce. Ms. Ryan Berman was formerly COO of Apple, Inc., Retail and was Chief Executive Officer of Giorgio Armani Corporation, North America. Early in her career, Ms. Ryan Berman held various positions of increasing responsibility in merchandising and store operations for Federated and May Department Stores. Ms. Ryan Berman graduated from Virginia Tech where she currently serves on the Board of the Pamplin College of Business. She sits on the Board of Tanger Factory Outlet Centers and previously served as a director for J. Crew. Along with her husband, Ms. Ryan Berman founded MiracleFeet. She currently resides in Guilford, Connecticut with her husband, Roger and son, Reese.
Hans Dekker, Secretary
President, Community Foundation of New Jersey
President of the Community Foundation of New Jersey since June 2003. During his tenure, the Foundation’s funds have dispersed over $280 million in grants to charitable causes. Mr. Dekker is a past chair of the Council of New Jersey Grantmakers and a trustee of the Hyde and Watson Foundation and the Ohl Foundation. Mr. Dekker has a background of both community foundation and community development work. Prior to his role at the Community Foundation of New Jersey, Mr. Dekker served as the Executive Vice President of the Baton Rouge Area Foundation. He received his master’s degree in public policy from the University of California at Berkeley.
Founder, Eitel Global, LLC
Sue Eitel, BScPT, MAEd is a rehabilitation specialist and the founder of Eitel Global, LLC, a consultancy service for proposal writing, program assessments, and monitoring & evaluation — all related to international disability and rehabilitation programs. Her extensive background includes serving as Senior Rehabilitation Advisor with USAID, as Country Director in Angola and Ethiopia for Handicap International, and as a physical therapist in Ethiopia, Romania, and Thailand. In addition, she has piloted a small grants disability program in Uganda through Pact, and created amputee support networks in six mine-affected countries for the Landmine Survivors Network. She served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Thailand and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Jarret Fass, Treasurer
Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Pierpoint Capital
An experienced investor and business builder, Jarret is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Pierpoint Capital, a private equity firm focused on investing in differentiated technology-related businesses across industry verticals. He currently serves on the board of CoreFlow, a precision aeromechanical manufacturing equipment company, Hospital IQ, a healthcare operations planning and management analytics platform and on the board of an Israel-based cardiovascular medical device company that he also co-founded. Jarret previously was a Principal at Selway Capital, a technology-focused multi-stage private equity firm sponsored by Columbus Nova, a large single family office. Jarret began his career at Bear Stearns where he worked in the Corporate Strategy Group responsible for firm-wide growth initiatives including acquisitions, joint ventures and principal investments. Jarret holds a BA from Connecticut College and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He was born with bilateral clubfoot.
Joshua Hyman, MD, Medical Advisor
Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, Columbia University
Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia University, Attending Physician at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center and Director of Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Hyman’s research focuses on methods of measuring quality of life in children. He is also actively involved in research trials on clubfoot, scoliosis and neuromuscular diseases in children. Dr. Hyman did his orthopedic surgical training at Harvard University and Massachusetts General Hospital.
Group CEO, ICS Group
Group CEO of the ICS Group, a real estate services and hospitality company with business interests throughout India and South Africa. Kunal was born with clubfoot and successfully treated with the Ponseti Method in India over 30 years ago. Kunal has a BA from Wake Forest University in North Carolina, where he played varsity tennis. Kunal and his wife, Kavita, live in Mumbai where they are also involved in a nonprofit that provides training for women in one of Mumbai’s largest slums.

He is an economist by training with interests in strategy, leadership, and entrepreneurship. A native of South Africa, Saloner received a BCom and MBA from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. He received an MS in statistics, an AM in economics, and a PhD in economics, business, and public policy from Stanford. He has previously taught at Harvard University and at MIT. In addition to spending time with his close-knit family, Saloner is an avid photographer, a cycling enthusiast and enjoys international travel.
Speech/Language Pathologist and Mother to Son Born with Clubfoot
Michelle became passionate about helping children around the world after her third child, Braden, was born with clubfoot and treated in the United States by Dr. Jose Morcende. She holds a graduate degree from Florida Atlantic University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. A former speech-language pathologists and designer handbag buyer, Michelle currently resides in Long Island, New York with her husband, children (Ryann, Madison, and Braden) and their dog, Bo.

Managing Director, Emilia GmbH
Åro Tilde Eide is a Managing Director of Emilia GmbH, a private wealth management company, and in addition is a member of MiracleFeet Germany’s Board of Directors. Åro has previously worked in market research for the Norwegian Trade Commission in New York, in strategic management planning in the oil industry for Esso Norge AS, and as Account Director in the Corporate Identity and Brand Building company Scandinavian Design Group and served as a Board Member of Stiftung Landheim Schondorf. Åro is a Norwegian citizen living in Munich with her husband Georg and their three children Beatrix, Ingerid, and Frederik, and holds a Bachelor of Business Degree from BI – Norwegian Business School and an MBA from INSEAD in France.

Chesca has a proven track record of helping to create and build organizations in the corporate, academic and non-profit arenas. Her experience includes the University of North Carolina Business School, University of Iowa President’s Office and College of Business, eToys, CitySearch, The Boston Consulting Group, Goldman Sachs, International Rescue Committee and CARE. Chesca has worked and lived in Ecuador, Pakistan, South Africa, UK and the US. She received an MBA from Stanford and a BA from UNC-Chapel Hill, where she was a Morehead Scholar.
