Revathy has 30+ years of experience working in the social development sector and has worked with bilateral and multilateral organizations, State and National Governments providing technical support to partners. She has been part of many research and strategic planning processes focused on children’s well-being initiatives. Revathy has worked extensively throughout Asia (including in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, The Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, China, and Thailand) and has provided technical guidance to programs in South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. The last ten years of her professional career have been dedicated to promoting the inclusion of children and persons with disabilities in education and employment. She has also worked with partners in Bangladesh, India, and The Philippines on Inclusive Education programs funded by USAID, the European Union, and other foundations to ensure children with disabilities receive education. She has led multi-county programs focused on economic inclusion engaging with private sector groups and business associations, skill training institutions, The World Bank, and the International Labour Organization. She is passionate about exploring tech-enabled products and addressing social issues.
Revathy holds master’s degrees in science, law, and social work all from Kerala, India; a Master’s in Science (Botany) from the University of Calcutta; a master’s in business laws from the University of Kerala; and a master’s of social work from Loyola College, Trivandrum.
