Maisie teaches her classmates about clubfoot

We love seeing young people get excited about raising awareness about clubfoot, and our friend Maisie has inspired us with her enthusiasm! When she was tasked with coming up with a subject for her sixth grade health fair, she came across MiracleFeet in her initial research. An avid reader, Maisie recalled a book she had just finished, “The War that Saved My Life” by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley. The book’s heroine, Ada, is born with clubfoot. Ada’s story inspired Maisie to choose clubfoot as the subject of her health fair project.

With the help of some MiracleFeet swag and posters, Maisie’s project was a success. She gave away information and prizes, and even had a game to attract students to her table! She had several interesting conversations with her classmates and said, “MiracleFeet is a great organization that helps make a lot of children’s lives better.”

Thanks for teaching others about clubfoot, Maisie. The more we spread the word, the more children can get the treatment they deserve. Congratulations on your beautiful and compelling display!
